Gear fitting tool for Jaeger and Smith odometers

Tool for fitting the gears SEP-R57, SEP-R58 and SEP-R84 for several Jaeger and Smith instrument clusters odometers of:

• Austin-Healey Sprite Mk1 (models from 1958 to 1961);
• several Jaguar, MG, Rover and other car makes models.

Use: after removing the damaged gear and any residue, take out the shaft from the odometer and place into the slot of the tool (SEE GALLERY), then lock it. Insert the new gear between the shaft and the vice of the tool, making sure the central hole is aligned with the shaft. Tighten until the gear is perfectly fitted onto the shaft.
