Key for disassembling BMW 5 Series, 7 Series, X5 and Land Rover Range Rover instrument clusters

Tool, similar to an inverted Phillips head screwdriver, useful to disassemble the dashboards of:

• BMW 5 Series E39 (models from 1995 to 2004);
• BMW M5 E39 (models from 1998 to 2003);
• BMW 7 Series E38 (models from 1994 to 2001);
• BMW X5 E53 (models from 1999 to 2006);
• Land Rover Range Rover L322 (models from 2002 to 2005).

It has to be inserted into the "x" plastic clips securing the front cover of the cluster to the rear one (SEE GALLERY).

Rotating the clips and gently pressing them it will be possible to easily remove the front part of the instrument cluster during the repair.
